First things first: Welcome to my gadget and technology blog. Feel free to rant and rave; I sure will.

A little about me: I am currently the chief information officer and director of technology for a large college in Minnesota. Before my management degree, I was also an English grad school dropout, a musician, a programmer, and a network administrator, among other things. Through it all, I have remained a complete technology geek.

I’m no pro, but I still hack on things from time to time, especially for Android. You may have seen some of my posts on xda developers, for instance.

I am married to a wonderful woman, have four amazing kids, and a few too many pets. I also still enjoy playing music at home even though my days as a wannabe rock star are officially over.
